+ How many questions and how long is the written exam for U.S. Border Patrol?

As of June 19, 2017, the Border Patrol dropped the Spanish language requirement. This means that you no longer have to take the Spanish test or the ALT (Artificial Language Test). You fill out the Expereince Record at home. On test day, you will find: 40 Logical Reasoing questions, 2 hours to complete the exam. That's all there is!

+ Do you have to know Spanish?

+ If you fail the Border Patrol written exam, how long do you have to wait before you can take it again?

You will not be able to retake the entrance exam for six (6) months, regardless of whether you pass or fail.

+ What is the difference between Border Patrol Agent and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer?
